I've watched every episode of buffy but I think I've only watched 2 or 3 episodes of Angel. I hated the fact that he went away. I'm a fan of Angel-Buffy love story. So, did anyone die? Who did he hook up with? Is Buffy still his true love? I've heard that he became in love with Cordelia. What happened with those two? Can somebody fill me up?

I actually never got into Angel while it was airing, because I was such a Buffy enthusiast, and I think I was in denial a bit about the fact that Buffy and Angel were no longer together. lol. I caught a few episodes here and there, especially when there were crossovers, but never really stayed in touch with the stories. And when I saw that Angel and Cordelia were falling in love, I think I reacted violently. But after it was off the air I managed to get a copy of season 1, and realized just how great a show it really was, and it got better with each season (except apparently for 4...I haven't managed to get 4 or 5 on DVD yet) You really should give it a chance. It just might surprise you.

I'm with you regarding Angel-Cordelia. When I heard about it, it made me want to barf! I did catch an episode where buffy made an appearance but that was it.

but the more I watch it, the more I realize that by the time Angel and Cordelia happen, Cordelia has changed so much. No longer is she the spoiled brat princess from Sunnydale. She's become a much more caring intellegent person, and it's easier to see why Angel might develope feelings for her. I still think you should give it a try. Rent the DVDs if you can. It really is worth it.

This is a pretty big question. First off I would suggest that you give Angel a shot. There are a few episodes that Buffy Shows up in...one is especially heartbreaking. To start, Angel opens his own freelance "Investigation" agency called Angel investigations (the motto: We help the helpless). He takes cases from those who are having trouble of a supernatural nature. Cordiela works for him as dose Wesley. There are a few new (and great) characters who show up. I think out of all the seasons of this show that season 4 is the weakest, but season 5 (which is the last season) is really good. Spike actually shows up and the interaction between him and Angel is great! If you have a chance to rent these episodes, I think you should try it out. More Buffy-verse is always good.

Okay, but I'm one of those persons who like to know the ending first if I'm gonna watch a show that I'm not really that into. WHo did angel end up with? Did he die? I'm assuming that the whole series has already ended, right? I've heard that on the news a few months back.

OH wow! Do you really want to be spoiled? I'll tell you this much about the ending. In the last season, Angel tried to take down the big bad that's been kinda running the show. There is no hell-mouth like Buffy has, but more of a secret society of bad guys who control a lot of the supernatural crime and general badness. When Angel decides that it's time to take them down in one fell swoop, both good and bad happen. In the end, some main characters die, others are mortally injured (so we are not sure if they die) and others are still standing. The rest is really open ended. While I personally think that Buffy is the better show, Angel does have a charm of it's own. In fact, even if you decide not to watch the series, Season 5 is worth your time. There are some really great tie ins with Buffy, plus Angel and Spike together are just amazing. Also, if you are planning on reading the new Season 8 Buffy comics, watching Angel will help you get some of the jokes and references that there are in the first issue. Also, according to interviews with Joss, there will be references to Angel and Spike coming up more into the comic series as well. Twilight was right about season 4 being a bit weak, but I own the first two seasons of Angel and I really enjoy them. Especially that episode when Buffy shows up. also, it's a ton of fun to watch and figure out when the two series interact with each other. As for Cordelia and Angel, their romance is really quite good. Cordelia grows a lot as a character so it takes the sting out of seeing Angel with someone other than Buffy. However, I can't say that things end well for those two either. I say give the show a chance. If you don't like it, you can always stop watching it. In my opinion though, more Joss-verse is almost always a good thing.

well I remember spike and angel becomming friend and angel giving up his ever log dream of becomming human again for the sake of the greater good. The very last scene shows the good vampires and their broken friends getting togather for the fight of their lives ... and thats where its over ... I thought there was somthing wrong, the season didnt end and there might be another episode to follow because it do seem like not the end ... unfortunately it was ... sighs
