What do you do on the net?

When you are surfing the net, what actually are doing? I like to study the web layout and all the interesting features found on a website. Sometimes I click on links and may find interesting websites. I also look at the web design. The reason i do this is because I am learning to build a proper professional website. I have very little knowledge of html or any other web building language. I do it by trial and improvement by studying the source of the webpage.
