Does taking your laptop to bed mean you are addicted??

Sound familiar?? Is your spouse trying to sleep while you pound away on the keyboard? Have you ever had to turn down the light on your monitor so another could sleep? If so, are you working? Chatting? Gaming? Multi tasking? Does it mean you are addicted? Is it used as a means of avoidance?

I think you are definitely addicted if you are taking your computer to bed with you. My husband would porobably file for a divorce if I tried that. Beds are for sleeping. I would try to cut back on the computer use a bit if I were you. Maybe not as much as going cold turkey, but at least eliminate the use of it in bed. Good luck.

Yes, and guess what. I am in the bed with my laptop. I've never turned the light down but since you mentioned it, I'm going to try to figure out how to do it. Since reading this post, I think I'm going to start making a rule to put the laptop down my a certain time. The main reason for me to bring it to bed is to talk to mylotters. So now I have to ask myself if its worth it and the answer is no. One or two cents isn't worth me be groggy in the morning and late to a job that pays so much more. Thanks for the post.
