Do you keep a first aide kit? Where do you keep it, in the house, the garage, the car, the camper? or maybe you keep several. What items do you keep in them?

We have a first aid kit in each bathroom and one under our bed. Each kit has the usual items in it; however, we added batteries, so they are easy to find when we have power outages. Its bad when we have long outages and discover none of the flashlights work and hunting for batteries in the dark was terrible. The flashlight is on top of the first aid kit.

that is an excellent idea regarding the batteries! I usually keep mine in the freezer as I heard they last longer there. but, they may prove hard to rummage for when the power is out.

I have a drawer in the bathroom that is "first aid stuff" bandages of all types and sizes, neosporin (heals everything), special creams for poison ivy (son is prone to look for it alot), about anything you could think of. I also have a small one in the car. Neosporin story - #2 son broke his arm among other injures when he was in a car accident. When we came home from the hospital and was getting him 'set up' on the sofa he announced, "Hay Mom, I don't think neosporin is going to fix this."

*LOL* that is cute, he has a good sense of humor. BTW I love son #2's beautiful name, and his selfless service to our country.
