Hindu's converting to Buddhism

I have read recently about Hindu's converting to buddhism as well as christianity because they have a low caste and face discrimination in the work place and in their social life, what do you think of this?

This game is played by petty politician. Who don't know anything about Hinduism. Just to show their the convert to buddhism or christanity, but on the second day itself they come back to hindu fold.

That's not what I'm talking about. I'm talking about people from a low caste, previously known as untouchables who face such awful discrimination that they have to change their religion just to be able to lead a decent life. How can you call that petty?

yep i would certainly sympathize with those poor indians who are victimized by other poor indians and would encourage them to convert to either religion so at least, they have a fighting chance for a better future!
