yes, there are ways to download those videos at youtube. i personally use the site http://keepvid.com, through which i can save youtube (& other sites) videos as .flv file (using a download manager). this file format should easily be played by an updated flash or FLV Player (standalone program).

No, this is not possible and they made it this way for a reason, so that people don't burn the videos and distribute them for personal gain/profit.

Hello, hothash007, yes it is possible to download videos from youtube. I will tell you how. You go to this website: http://vixy.net/ you copy and paste the youtube URL (when you see the video it's to the right of the video it says "HTTP link" or something like that), once you have the youtube URL in the box you select the video (or audio) format you want. And then you press "start" this website does all the converting for you, and then you just download the file. There is no downloading any software. I think it is one of my favorite websites.
