Pregnant and on Zantac

I was wondering if any of you have taken Zantac while pregnant. I am on it and it's a life saver!!! I was having such sever pain (from acid reflux and haital hernia) that I was about to die in misery. The doc gave me a prescription and said "this stuff may or may not work". Well, praise the Lord it did! Anyone else?

HI I guess once you are on acid relieve you will be on it forever unless you change your diet habit. My Doc prescribed me protonix that didn't work. It was very expensive. 60 pills fro $130, my insurance will not cover for it. So I went and buy Zantac 75mg I take them twice daily, it really does help. In the cartoom it say consult your doctor if you are pregnant so why not ask your doctor. Protonix label said safe for pregnant use.
