laxative: it's importance

why do you think are laxatives created. what are they for. why do you have to induce diarrhea syndrome in your own body. what i am asking is what are the importance of laxatives?? does these really help?

I take it that you have never had constipation before? I can tell you the feeling is NOT good :P
