Staying overnight with a friend or relative? Here's how to make the best impression. Before you get there find out what to pack ask if you'll need to bring anything special, like a dress or hiking boots-so you'll be ready (and dressed appropriately!) for any activity they want to do. Prep for bad weather. Even if the forecast says it'll be warm, bring a jacket, sweater, jeans, and sneakers. This way, you won't throw a wrench in their plans if it does get cold or rainy. get a nice gift. Think of something small but thoughtful cookies, brownies to give the host right when you arrive. It's a gesture that says, "I know having me visit takes work-and i really appreciate it." This will set a great tone fir the rest of your stay.
