What colour is your bedroom, just doing mine cream do u think it will be nice ?

i just finish painted the bedroom together w/my husband.the most color is cream also but we have one side of the wall painted w/dark brown as the 'vocal point'.

I prefer bedroom to be colorful. Or if u prefer a light color for the walls, you can decorate the wall behind the headboard of the cot with a large, colourful painting with bold designs.

i have a very nice pleasing green with deep lemon yellow for the borders done and it looks very good

Until last summer my bedroom for the previous 12 years had been a lavender colour. Now it's cream - magnolia is the official colour. I find it brighter now and maybe not as soothing but we have more light in our life now as my husband keeps saying LOL! We have actually painted all of the rooms this same colour. I found this image of a bedroom which I think looks fantastic! Maybe in my next house I'll have one like this LOL!

I think thats a great idea! If you did earthy colors for your bedding as well. That would go great! Some greens would go great as well!

Yes earth tones are nice, but I prefer mine to be with a bit of a colour not too strong but just to brighten up the bedrooom a little bit. I think that it is up to the individual how they feel in the bedroom as this is a room where it is personal, so the bedroom must have a personal touch.

Cream is good one. If you see my other photos you will see the wall in the background and it's cream. I like cream because it goes with any other color of anything that I want to put in my bedroom like drapes, posters, flowers, bed sheet. Sometimes though a themed wall would be also good as long as it matches all the decorations you might want to use at present and in the future. You can tell your wife to think outside the box. Does she really want that color to see for a long time. I totally agree with you that the bedroom offers comfort after a long day at work or school. Maybe you can let your wife have her fave color as long as you use cream colored drapes to cover it LOL!

The color of my bedroom is Mauve.White being a contrasting color ,the door and windows are all white and even the netting on the windows is white.The wardrobes are burnished and fit in well.The only ones that look out of place are the steel cabinets.I am thinking of using wall papers next time instead of paints.

My room is a darkish red and cream and i have silver tv and things with silver and glass stands, i liked it at the time but i fancy a change soon i think

Greens and earth colors are very relaxing if done right. If you expect your wife to share that room with you, you might want to take her feelings and suggestions into consideration. Work out something with which both of you can be happy.

Pastel color would be nice for bedroom.Why don't you try lime green for your living room..It's going to be superb and alive:)Toning the color for living room will make a different.Example, lime green with wood kind of color combination.It will be beautiful!And your furniture color that match will be white.If you're thinking to create a picture wall, go for vibrant color.It will match anything:)

I look soothing neutral colours in my bedroom. But each has their own taste. If you are not happy and content, you will not get a good nights sleep. Pick colours that make you feel happy and soothed. Have a nice day!

My bedroom color is sweet pure white. I feel fresh when i enter the bedroom. white is my favourite colour. YOu know what different colour make us happy and fresh. SO you should choose the best colou r for your bed.

Agreed, I would like some cool shades to be put in to my bedroom. Something soothing like creames, browns or mild pinks. Even my husband does not agree with my color tastes, what can we do, for peace of mind and peace of home we have to come to some common shade and thats the only way out. May be you should also listen to your wife, and keep her happy with whatever color she wants, rest of peace and happiness will folllow itself.

mine is light peach and i like it but cream is very good as it is very soothing and neutral,u can do a lot with walls like paintings, lights,phto frames,cream allows u to do so i guess so ,i'm not at all an expert and i go by instincts.
