Have you noticed..I have..that in the spring and summer..that the weather is less predictable?
This week our weather was predicted to have a whole line of thunderstorms..
Each day however, I have noticed the pictures change drastically ..from the for certain weather ..to a chance of showers, a chance of thunderstorms.
When it came to winter..the reports were more accurate..
Is this the same with you ..or do we have really crummy weather forecasts:

Yes I do notice, but aren't you glad we don't have more snow! I was just listening to the weather as I was reading this, and the weather man said just what you said chance of showers.

Now that you mention it, I think you may have something there. We have gone, in the past month, from winter, to spring weather, to rain like in the fall, to overcast days to upper 70's, and back and forth with more rain. It has really been unusual. Tornadoes were in our region recently also, but not close to us. I'll bet it has kept the meteorologists jumping!

I wonder why though, they are more accurate in the winter then they are in the spring and summer? Seems like there must be something unpredictable about the rain and storm clouds?+

I hear ya..Nothing like being told it's not going to rain and you go out without an umbrella and then there is a rainstorm and thunder and lightning..Weatherman are good guessers most of the time.. I know they use radar..but maybe rain clouds are more unpredictable then the snow clouds?+

I wonder if you are indeed right that the weather is unpredictable, where I live we don't even get a right prediction at all, only to say it is going to rain, or heavy rain, or thunder storms, admittidly we do get a lot of rain as opposed to the rest of the country but when we have a week of beautiful fine weather it really annoys when they say it is going to rain or it was raining. If you ask tourists what they think of the WestCoast (or WetCoast as it is sometimes called) they always say, oh! we were told it always rains here and the weather is beautiful.
