Do you really want her to meet mom?

I have a mother who is not only really cool, but also really friendly, so I haven't had any first hand experience of it. I have had three relationships and my mom has met all of them. While in case of one girl, she was not pleased at all, but never expressed her displeasure in front of my girl. She told me what she felt, when we were alone together, but never when she was around. Actually, it so happened that my mom's fears were justified. We split up some time later, over differences, but even then, my mom did not try to rub it in with an 'I told you so' kind of behavior. She was supportive even then. I love my mom! She is the best mom in the world!
