Do you do your own yard maintenance or do you pay someone to do it for you?

Just wondering if you do without some else in order to pay someone else to keep your yard looking good ? Do you do it yourself because you like it, you can't afford to pay someone to do it for you, you have a dirt yard because you do not care what others think ?

i don't have a yard
stuck in an apartment in the city
the landlord has a tiny yard, he doesn't let anyone mess with it
we have 9 acres of woods in NH, its just woods, so no maintaining to do
