Do Space Aliens Exist?

I've been wondering about this lately, considering how I've heard there's potential for life on Mars or that life may have existed there years ago, and everything that some spiritual people have said about the universe and spirits and the like. Do you think there is intelligent life somewhere else in the universe that may have an advanced civilization like ours or even better or not quite as advanced (perhaps similar to thousands of years ago) but still a life form capable of rational thought, speech, etc? If there is, do you think it would benefit our society to find out if there's another life form (that we would call space aliens) or not?

There is intelligent life out there. My astronomy professor even showed the class proof of it. Believe it or not, there is alien life on this planet right now. The stuff that goes on at Area 51 is real. I know because my father used to work for the government. A really good book to read up about this sort of thing is Children of the Matrix by David Icke.

ya there are lots of books also you can go for "Dr. Who" movie serie and the concept you'll see in that movie that makes you believe in aliens...

well in movies yes but in real life hard to believe... i have seen many videos regarding ufo's and aliens... serch for ufo video's in youtube.com... you'll find a video taken by NASA and a video taken by local police camera... it makes be believe in aliens... if there is life on the earth then why can't on other part of the universe...

It's true there could be life on other planets or in other galaxies. I'd just love to know if there is, how smart are the civilizations? Are they a duplicate Earth in terms of the intelligence of their beings? Are they so advanced that modern humans would seem like cavepeople in comparison? Are they a benevolent or malevolent group?

I do believe that there are space aliens that exist. Why would just this world have life on it. The reason I think that we have not been contacted is because we are a violent people. Not tolerant of anything unknown. There is no doubt in my mind how the world would welcome someone from outer space. They wouldn't. They automatically would be scared. So why would a life from outer space want to come here. They see how we are and perfer to keep their distance. That is my own personal take on your question.

we live in a large universe..although i havent seen an space alien yet, i dont think we're the only living species here in the widest universe.... since we belong to the thousand stars and planets of milky way galaxy and there are alot of galaxies in the universe aside from the milky way... ( how big really is the universe?)

In this entire universe it would be foolish of us to think we are the only intelligent life. But I would bet that there is a sign out there somewhere warning all extraterrestials away from our planet. Don't stop there for gas, these dudes are strange....:}

We are very , very lucky if only humans are the only living creatures in this one very big and vast Universe. I just can't prove it but i believe that we are not alone. there are others out there living like us. Maybe in another planet of different galaxy. they may not look and think like us but I Believe that there are others out ther who are more far advance compared to our technology.
