choke,air/fuel mixture

1987 pontiac sunburst 1.5 engine-hi, my car has been choking, coughing, stalling, and has some hesitation when sitting idle at red lights. i need some advice on the possible causes of these things. if you have any diagrams of carburetors that would be great too.

you can go to www.jcwhitney.com an find a diagram for your carburator.but it sounds like your timeing may be off or your fuel filter is stopped up. an have you changed your spark plugs lately? i use to work on cars a long time ago.now i gotten to old.lol but i hope this info helps
