Home Remedies and Cures for What Ails You

I'm curious about any home remedies or cures that you have heard about, use on your family, or used yourself. I'll start with one that I have tried and it has worked. If you are prone to have fever blisters, the minute you feel that tingling sensation that lets you know one is on its way, take a regular kitchen match and wet the tip of it. Then rub it over the spot on your lip. It might burn a little bit. But I've tried it several times over the last year after my mother read an article and it has worked every time. It's like it skips the first few phases and dries it up before it ever shows up.

Oh nice one. I will have to try it. Thanks. Mine would be the one I got from a mylot user for itchy ears. Put a drop of olive oil in your ear. It really does help. My ears don't itch like they used to and when they do I just put in another drop.

These are good ideas. To cure a hair dandruf, extract enough quantity of aloe vera gel, use it to set your hair with little quantity of setting gel. it works well. It worked for me.

I have never heard of that one. I'll have to try that when my scalp gets dry or even sunburned. Thank you.

I haven't heard of that. It sounds like a good idea. Our family really doesn't have any home remedies that I can remember. Or, at least none that actually worked. My mom used to use a humidifier for my asthma, but I don't think that really worked.

The match stick really does work.
