What would be your reaction if you learnt your child was gay?

Even now a days, homosexuality is not fully accepted. In some families, people would actually not talk to their children if they learnt they were gay... Althought I don't have children for the moment, I don't think I would care much if he or she was gay..the only thing I would be sad about is the fact that society is not ready yet to accept the gay community. Put yourself in that situation ..what would be your reaction if you learnt your child was gay? How would you deal with it ? Do you think society is ready to do that step forward and open up to the gay community?
