Do you have a child in your young age? What does it feels? Did abortion became your option?

I got pregnant with my first child when I was 16 yr. old. For me abortion was never an option. I had a human life growing in me and the thought of abortion was like contemplating killing my best-friend... never happening. It was very hard raising a child when I was still a child myself but with the help of family and frineds I did it and I am proud to say my daughter will be 19 and living a normal 19 yr old life. I am very happy tat I chose life for her.

I see. You were too young to have a child. How did you tell your parents about it? Did they get mad at you? I'm so happy for you that you never had any regrts about ur decision. =)

I actually asked my mother to take me to get the test. She wasn't mad, she was disappointed. She told me years later she felt it was her fault, that she hadn't explained things enough to me to prevent this from happening. Of course it wasn't, I was a strong-headed teenager. I thank God every day I had a mother that supported my decission and helped me any way she could.

That's true. No matter how hard headed we are, we are still lucky to have our mother. Well atleast it became a lesson to you. I was touched with what you just shared. To be honest, ther is this one time that i got scared cause i thought i was pregnant. But fortunately, i wasn't. I dont know how to tell my parents or even my boyfriend that time.

I didn't personally but my sister in law did (actually, all 3 sisters in law) & all seemed to cope very well. I don't think any of them even considered abortion, there's no point in aborting when you have friends & family members who are willing to help you along the way & then there are the risks abortion carries - if you abort, there's always the chance you wont be able to conceive again later when you are ready. I agree with what someone else posted - you're better off carrying the baby to full term & putting it up for adoption, then not only will you you know you've done the right thing for your circumstances, you'll have also made another couple very happy!

I got pregnant at 15 and had a missed miscarrige and then two months or so later i got pregnant again and had my son at 16 I never thought about getting an abortion because i do not believe in them. my boyfriend had brought it up saying i should get one and i told him that i would leave him before i would ever get an abortion. Having my son made things a little difficult but i was able to graduate high school a year early and i'm now attending college. The way it feels is a hard thing to explain cuz every one feels different. The first time i felt my son move it felt like butterflies and it was so amazing.

i had a friend who had a baby at the age of 16. i use to hangout with her alot but since that time, we never really had time to see each other. she told me it was sooo hard to be mom unexpectedly. she stopped studying and started to work in a fast food restaurant. i feel sorry for her. but shes happy with the kid. :)
