busy significant other forgot your birthday....

its my birthday today and my bf who happen to be an analyst of a famous magazine, a model and at the same time a handler forgot my special day...i understand that he's really busy and we have different time zones aside from the fact that he's in CA and im here in the philippines...it's really frustrating...what do you think??

I am getting some wrong signals hearing this. It doesn't sound right Have you tried calling him up and checking it out. Or in your bones do you get a feeling that its all over and done. Whatever happens just be sure your friends on mylot will always be there to see you through it.

hi mansha! thanks for the precaution thing..the thing is im used to hear from him probably twice a month if he's out of town for projects but i can't feel women's instinct that he has another agenda though..i just hope he could get in touch soon...but i sent him an email saying im totally frustrated...thanks for the concern..

thanks for the response.actually he did forgot about it and the sad part is that he didn't even get in touch with me this past few days so it sounds that we really need to talk. anyway, thanks for the caring words i receive maybe i will have another birthday that is full of joy and love this coming years. goodluck

This is the first year that my b/f actually remembered my birthday. We have been together for 6 years.I have never made a big deal about it.
If I was you and it bothered me that much then I would bring the subject up to him. He might have gotten you something and its just not gootn there yet.

thanks for the response...this is the first time that ill be celebrating my birthday with a long distance relationship that's why...thanks anyway...i hope so...i just hate surprises...

first of all, happy birthday!
as you have pointed out, you both have different timezones. as philippines is ahead by 11 or 12 hours (i'm not really sure), then as your day is just ending, his day is just beginning. if you didn't hear from him within the day of his timezone, then he really forgot about it.
yes, i agree it's very frustrating... but it's up to you how you choose your attitude on your special day. you could still choose to be happy regardless of whatever... or you choose to be sad and frustrated, just because. it's up to you.
