About Movie 300

yes, it was a really good movie. I though it was a lot like a mix of bravehart and lord of the rings - but was still nice. for all those who dont know, its about 300 Spartans fighting a million Persians in defense of their land. It depicts patriotism at its best - a must watch.

Well its a excellent movie and i loved the graphics and story.

Maybe i have to watch it myself because a friend of mine says its a wonderful movie..

300 is an absolutely terrific movie. the attitude, the valour the spartans display send a chill down my spine. so much to keep their honour. they challenged and even demured a person who projected himself as god. i think they were bogged down by the wrong priests who just had no respect for these warriors. my personal favorite line in the movie when the king says : SPARTANS NEVER RETREAT!!!!!!!!!!. the greatest sequence when the king as a young lad fights the beast and also , when he kicks the intruder into the well..

What is it about? I haven't heard of this movie. I'm not up on the new movies coming out, as you can see. My kids and I are excited about getting Happy Feet this weekend and watching it!! I need to get a life!! I do want to see the new Spiderman Movie!!! I can't wait for that one to come out.

I downloaded that movie few days ago, and I still haven't watched it. Now I can't wait to watch because of the high recommendation that I see here. I hope that it's realy a good movie as you said.

i think that this is the best war movie i have ever seen ...this movie goes deep into the sacrifice and love of the men for their country....the most cruel and the hardest war that teh men on this earth ever fought.....tying dwn a whole army!!!!! awesome .....wen i watchd this movie , my first reaction was that this movie is a hit, its story line is awesome , its scene breath taking and cruel and its war the hadest.......its men the most patriotic and cold...

I had very high expectaions on this film and I must say that it has exceeded far beyond my expectations Although some may consider the story too simplistic, it is nonetheless so powerful that the simplicity can almost be overlooked; we should consider that the story is a based on a tiny portion of about Spartan wars.The storyline may not be perfect, and perhaps even a bit melodratic, but its flaaws are excusable as are adabted from a comic. All in all, this is the most entertaining film of the year so far, and we should just appreciable its beautiful choreography, its fantestic graphics, and the powerful performances that butler and his fellow actors gave us. If you are going to spend $$ to feast the eyes no the silver screen, spend it on this movie

a masterpiece... 300 was one of the best movies i've ever seen.. the storyline was clear and direct.. the effects and graphics were excellent.. the message of the movie was moving.. to stand up and fight for honor.

I saw "300" durinf it's opening weekend. I would say that Gerard Butler's portrayal of the King was fantastic. The story was simple and straightforward, which was to my liking. But, If nothing else, the cinematography was fantastic.
