Oh well, i just start any of the disscussions that i think to discuss with everyone. Of cause, i do response to everyone that i think i have my own answer to compare with others. There are many ways and different ideas everybody have. So, dont be shy and just write down all your ideas.

I think it's better to start your own discussions as long as you don't over do it. Responses are easier and if you respond to a lot of subjects, a lot of people might add you as their friend. In terms of earning, however, new discussions will get you more money but you must make sure that the discussion is long enough.

well if you want to earn more, creating discussion is the best way. but of course dont ignore other discussions especially those from your friends, so that your friends will also respond to the one you started and get benefit from it. happy posting.!

i like reading discussions of other mylotters so i spend more time responding to discussions rather than starting my own. with about 211 posts to my name, i think around 12% of that are discussions i started and the big bulk 88% are discussions i responded to. i think the best thing to do in mylot is to participate. you can do that more by being part of the discussions of other mylotters. you can learn thru an exchange of knowledge and views as well as experiences in several different topics of interests. sometimes i make only around 3-12 posts each day, sometimes none at all. but i do read quite a lot. and i find many discussions both entertaining and enlightening. :)
