Do you laugh when someone hurts themselves?

I can't help myself sometimes, especially if my husband hurts himself. Sometimes I beg my husband to stop complaining when he has hurt himself because I am in so much pain from laughing. If he hurts himself or falls over, I am in pieces. Sometimes I think is there something wrong with me because I can't control my laughter. The good thing is, sometimes when I am laughing so much when he hurts himself, he ends up laughing too. Is there anybody else like this?

Oh, that's kind of weird.lol. How does he hurts himself? I actually have a friend who will hurt himself harshly. He will do that if they had a fight with his girlfriend. He will punch and hit himself. He would even bump his head somewhere or slap his face at times. I find it really weird. Why would one person hurt himself? I don't really laugh at him. I just urged him to stop what he's doing. What's sad is, he's crying when he's hurting himself. That's why I don't like seeing him that way. I don't like to see people crying because it also makes me lonely. I just hope people will realize that our body is as precious as Jesus' body. We are all created in God's image and likeness. So, if you hurt yourself, it's like you're hurting Jesus in return. Kudos.

My husband doesn't hurt himself on purpose. He is just very clumsy. He will just stub his toe on something or trip over something and I just can't help laughing. If he hurts himself really bad though, I don't find that funny. I told my husband after he dropped a car motor which scraped the skin of one leg, then he hit himself on something and then tripped and hit his head on a bench, I told him that it was like watching a cartoon character. He found it very funny when I said that. I hope your friend learns how to deal with stress without hurting himself. He might need to get some proffesional help about it. Sometimes if they talk about it they feel better and not hurt themselves. I can understand you not liking to see him do that, by the sounds of it you are there for him to talk to, which is good. Thanks!

They say that laughter is the best medicine. I am so glad that I am not the only one that does it. Thanks!

For no reason at all, I am a clux and sometimes my legs just give way and I fall flat on my face. 9/10 times that it happens, my best friend is with me and she just about wets herself in laughter. I just lay on the ground and laugh too because my friend is laughing at me. I had a good laugh at her husband a few months back too because he went to a friends house and fell flat on his face. When my friend told me, it took her ages because she was laughing so much.

It sounds like you and your friend get along really well, at least you can laugh about it too. I know when I have a laughing fit that I have trouble talking too, people will be asking what I am laughing about and they have to wait until I have calmed down before I can tell them. Thanks!

Ha ha, you just sound like my wife, she is the same. I even asked her one day if she would have liked it if I had laughed at her while she was giving birth, she said it is not the same though. I don't mind my wife laughing though because it usually just gets me to laugh and I forget that I have even hurt myself.

I think laughter seems to be the best cure, it sounds like it works on you if you forget that you have hurt yourself. I agree with your wife, childbirth is not the same, lol! Thanks!

yes, i do. as long as the person isn't seriously hurt i think it's ohkay too. the other day my boyfriend was going into the bathroom and he slid and his toe went into the bathroom counter. it hurt him, but not seriously and he called me in there and was in pain but i just had to laugh. he got a little upset at first, but then it was ohkay because he realized that if i had been the one that had gotten injured like that he probably would've laughed too. he was also glad that it had happened to him and not to me.
