Ouch!!!...Slammed my finger

I slammed my finger in a door just now and there is this bright red boil on it, has this happened to anyone before? Can it cause a blood clot? What should I do? (and yes, I know this is no substitue for getting medical attention)

i think that might be a blood blister, it could be a clot but u should just ice it up and try not to move it, if the swelling doesnt go down or the pain increases see a liscened professional not me
