what is the difference of age between you and your partner?

My husband is 5 years elder to me. But we both look same age. He is thin so he looks more young....I am a bit chubby chubby........lol.. mother of two children now so I look sometimes even elder than him. But we don't mind all this now. Looks are not anymore first prefrence in life....happiness of our children does matter a lot.........I think once you are married then age, looks etc don't remain much important.

My boyfriend's birthday is in the month of October. Mine is June. So he is eight months older than me. I thought your discussion will have a follow up question of "do you believe in age doesn't matter?" Hahaha!

My partner is 8 years older than me. We met when I was 28 and he was 36. Despite the age difference, we were in similar places in our lives. Each having had ended long term relationships (he's divorced, I was never married but with my ex for 10 years), we have children who are close in age, and we were more or less in the same stage of our careers. I think when the age difference means that the people are in vastly different stages of their lives, it can be harder to make the relationship work.
