Hi friends, In India, we have cars with the steering wheel on the right side of the car. I have heard that some other countries also have the same system. But in some other countries, they have the steering wheel on the left side in the car. Why this difference? Which kind of driving do you like left or right?

Hi there, here in the uk the wheel is on the right too. I havn't drove a car with a wheel on the left but I presume it would feel odd to do so. I have just come back from a holiday from France and they drive on the right, which is the opposite to what we do here. My sister was driving and she said it felt odd to do that also. I think that if you constantly had to swap (because you moved from country to country), it would feel easier but at the moment, the right side of the car is definately for me.

I think if the steering is on the right, driving left side of the road and if the steering is on the left, driving right side of the road are acceptable . I mean it has same effect. But I have seen in some countries some vehicles having a left sttering drive on the left side of the road. It's bit dangerous I think.

In the U.S. steering wheels are located on the left of the car...haha it's very weird to think of them being on the right, but i'm sure its the same way with you (it being weird and all). I have no clue why they're different in other areas, but since i'm used to driving on the right side of the road with steering wheel on the left, its better for me that way.
