Which company do you prefer more? Starbucks or Coffee Bean? Do you like the foam from Starbucks or the strength of the coffee from Coffee Bean? Did you know that Coffee Bean usually puts 1 additional shot in there drinks compared to Starbucks?

I did know that Coffee Bean puts more coffee into their cups... (I used to work for Starbucks.) I personally love both of them, but would have to lean towards Coffee Bean for a few reasons. First, I actually think they have richer espresso for their espresso drinks. It's not as bitter to me. I also love the fact that Coffee Bean used powdered chocolate. Starbucks chocolate is good, but I find the powdered chocolate that they use better in terms of mixing inside a drink. I also like Coffee Bean's non-coffee selections. They have excellent teas, something that I personally enjoy. Unfortunately, there are not many Coffee Bean's here in Northern California. The only one I can think of is in San Francisco... but whenever I am in So-Cal, it's Coffee Bean all the way.

You know to be honest where I live in Souther Cali we don't have a lot of them either but it seems like they are growing more and more.

Since you use to work at Starbucks - do you know why they did away with their great tea selection? They use to carry the best teas. You can still get them on their website, but not in the stores.

I've never heard of a place called "Coffee Bean." I don't care for Starbucks coffee either, but i do like their hot chocolate. I like the coffee I get here in Canada at The Second Cup.

The reason you most likely haven't heard of Coffee Bean is because it's not as big as Starbucks. Thank you for your response and if I ever go to Canada I will try "The Second Cup".
