Christmas presents for teenage boys, any ideas?!

I have no idea what to get my kids, ages 13 and 11 for xmas. I am tired of the normal junk...such as: video games, Yu-Gi-Oh cards.... I don't have any ideas and was hoping that maybe someone out there could have a creative idea for the age group I am dealing with. Any ideas?

If they like to read, buy them books on their favorite subjects. I know most people give out gift certificates, you could do that but to a unique place would like to go. If they are into sports, you could buy sports equipment. Do they have any collections (other than the cards you mentioned)? One of my sons collects all kinds of knives.
