last night i heard a terrible thing happening to my friend. her boyfriend beat her just for failure of business. i was surprised and angry to hear that horrible thing. and what made me surprised and angry thing is my friend do not tend to break with her BF. why? i am confused.

Who knows why people stay in abusive relationships. It's very sad and I hope your friend doesn't get badly hurt from this guy. Hopefully, she will realize how bad this is and get away from him. Until then she needs all the love and support she can get from other people, because she's not getting it from him.

It's awful when this happens. Hopefully she gets out of there fast as someone who raises his fists once is likely to do it again. Does she have somewhere to stay? The boyfriend obviously needs help. Perhaps some sort of anger management classes. Is she going to press charges?
