Is Value education or Moral education necessary in schools?

Yes it is very essential in schools and colleges... Schools and colleges are the place, where a child's character and behaviours taking shape. Here the teachers, friends and parents playing a great role. A good moral education system teaches the student how to behave and respect the others. But nowadays most of the schools are business establishments and they are not teaching any values. They want to make money. Instead of teaching values and principles, the schools going behind petty politics and communalism...... Even there is deadly competition between this educational institiutions for the new admissions......Recently here in Bangalore one school authority taken the help of the local Goons and made a propaganda against the other school saying that the Head of that school sexually harassed a girl...Even the girls parent's joined with the Goons for money.....The Girl was laughing and describing to the T.V.anchor, how the Principal behaved with her. Such schools can not mould good citizens.... they are only interested in money making process.....and most of the institutions are run by politicians and Goons .....they are not qualified also......How can they make good schools and mould good citizens...........

Yes getting value education is pretty necessary in school life. You have very rightly stated that this will make our kids good human beings as this will give them understanding about good or bad.
