when I am really low that is when i fight with my really closed ones i tend to irritate them and nag them which further fuels the situation!so now I have found out an innovative way of cooling my temper down or when I am feeling really low I go to sleep!sleep really helps you to relax and calm you down and to a great extent helps you to forget the grave situation! Not completely forget but it atleast diverts your mind to some extent!believe me it really works!atleast for me it does!else my all time favorite I catch up vt my friends or am busy orkutting!hehhee!this also works for me!

I put on my gospel music and reflect on how good God has been in my life. I also like to pray and ask him to lift my spirit. I can get alone with God and think on his goodness and cool out feeling so good that I feel like bouncing off the walls. Have you ever experienced a spiritual high.

Hi there 'Rozie37'. Yes, I have experienced a high spiritual level, but the challenge i am facing is how to stay High most of the time? I know that we can not stay high all the time, but most of the time is good :-)

I usually watch a movie, or read a book to get my mind off of something upsetting. If I can't do either, I think of something pleasant to replace the thought(s) of sadness or anger. It usually works, but does require a bit of effort. The effort is in refusing to play into the drama of sadness and or anger. It does work, honest. :)

Hi there 'myserenity'. Thank you for your post. You've reminded me of a trick I used to do and it works well. Wear a rubber-band on your wrist and whenever you get non-positive thoughts, pull it up then.... OUCH!!:) This will distract your thoughts, and then do something other than what you were doing (examples: if you are setting; take a walk. If you are watching tv; change the channel or listen to music...etc.) I have shared this with few friends, and received a BIG Thank you after a couple of months!!:-)
