Detroit came out strong, and was ahead 3-0. Then 3-1, then 3-2, and then tied 3-3. All three goals game in the third period for Dallas. No score after overtime. Dallas wins 1-0 in shootout.
Detroit could guarantee 1st place in the NHL with 9 out of the next 10 possible points. Well, they just threw away what could have been the first two. It was really disappointing to see them just shut down in the last period. Dallas certainly didn't deserve to win after the first two periods, but Detroit certainly didn't either after how they played in the third.

Ouch! What is wrong. My Red Wings of old could hold onto a lead. Is it the goal tending? Dare I say it? Is it a lack of defence? Or are they running out of gas? I hope they can pull it together for the playoffs.Go Wings!
