Kumble has announced his retirement from ODI cricket. I always had a feeling that he was not treated with due respect in the one-day form. He is such a wonderful bowler whom India will miss soon. I can still remember his first ODI match, played against Sri Lanka in Sharjah. In that first match, in the 10 overs he bowled, no boundary was scored. A great player, but was not given the same respect as had been given to Tendulkar, Dravid, Ganguly or even Sehwag and Dhoni. He deserved to retire on a high note, hopefully he gets that in test matches at least. Kumble, you are such a wonderful cricketer. I loved your spirit. Hope to see you in test matches for some more time.

Kumble is a real fighter, i also remember the ODI match that you have discussed above, He got a lot of respect in cricketing fraternity, but not as much as tendulkar and dhoni, dhoni prooves himself as a bubble and he is burst up now, Thanks to test criket that we can see more of kumble in test cricket. after all he is the second player to get all the 10 wickets in one innings.
