Mylot Needs A Lockout ?

i was looking at another forum site an i notice that they had a lockout.what i mean is. when i went to a certain discussion on that site.i got a page saying that the discussion was locked an you could not reply to it.do you think mylot needs something like that to stop members from replying to one liner discussion or nasty discussion.or even to keep members from makeing advertiseing ads.do we need a lockout?i think it would be nice.

hi,yes,friend,i also fed up with these type of discussion.My lot should have lock system.Some times i too tempt to post referral links,but i never post single word discussions...It has to be think over by my lot.

Isn't that not just the same as when you pull up a discussion to repond to it and the page is blank with the date 2008 on it.?

i dont know,i have never seen a blank page with just the 2008 on it.have you seen this here on mylot?i just notice on another forum they had a pitcher of a lock an it said this discussion was locked.but i guess it would be.

I am not sure if this would be of benefit or not. I guess it would all depend on how it was used and who had control over it. Rather than lock out a thread that breaches conditions or receives a lot of negative ratings or complaints is it not best to just remove it so that we all do not have to sift through them while looking for threads that are genuine?

i think mylot should be the ones to do the lockout.delete or lockout out,humm.like you i really dont know which one would one the best.

Admin should have the right to lock or delete improper discussions. I should have the right to lock out or close discussion I have started.
