Summer time for sunbathing, white beaches, relaxing and among others. I do know some places here in the philippines i do wanna share. Lets start..from white sand and beaches that are affordable and cool to go through, that would be in Boracay which will take you minutes to go there via airplane, this place is wild, with night life and some sporting stuffs in water can do here...COOL if you want a nice with and romantic ambience to go through along beach also with white sand also there is Pagudpud Beach far north from Manila which will took about an hours to go through via airplane..thats Manila via Laoag then another ride to go through Pagudpud which you will take taxi or private car to go to that place. It is a cool place i've been there..nice foods from seafoods to delicacies to fruits seasonal..that will cost, not that expensive.the Pagudpud is called the "Boracay of the North". There are also beach along La Union, and San Juan and they are cool too they have resort and nice also. Thats from Manila to La Union (which I lived in) will took 6 hours ride bus) but via airplane that will take you around 45 minutes via San Fernando City, La Union. There is also summer resorts along Pangasinan, so much fun to go. The Hundred Island is one of them a nice view and a nice beach also thats way to Alaminos,Pangasinan. Thats a 4 hour ride to bus from Manila faster if you have private car of course If you want falls and hotspring this summer, the Pagsanjan Falls and the hotspring there in Pangasinan. There is a hotspring also in Baguio City the Summer Capital of the Philippines. Its called ASIN HOTSPRING. If you want to know more just contact me and i'll be glad to give some advise and nice places to go this summer. here's my email add: floresca091985@yahoo.com If you're planning to go out i can be your tour guide for free if you want. Happy Summer getaway.

I live in New York City and usually go down to Florida to visit my brother. It is beautiful there and I hope to be moving there as soon as I can. I get to see my nieces and nephew and usually go to Disney World or Universal Studios with them. I love Universal, what a cool place. I also have a sister in the military and she is stationed in England, she wants me to go there to visit but I am not really comfortable traveling out of the US at this time. So I would rather travel domestically. Have you even been to the US?

Thanks for the great information! I'm also a Filipino and I'm working here in the US as a teacher. I'm planning to visit the Philippines again this June (which is still hot I guess) and I plan to hit the beach. I've been to Boracay, Pagudpud and Puerto Galera, and I would say that Pagudpud is the best. Boracay has become very famous, but has also become so commercialized. I will try the other spots you have mentioned. I'm excited to go back to the Philippines for a vacation. I miss the people, most especially. Happy myLotting!
