Oh here is a recipe for a ham castroll. Iknow it is different but tasts good all the same! GREDIENTS: 2 cups chopped, cooked ham 1 (10 oz) pkg. frozen broccoli 1 cup cooked rice 1 can cream of celery or mushroom soup 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 small onion, chopped (optional) 1/2 cup sour cream 1/2 cup buttered bread crumbs salt and pepper to taste PREPARATION: Combine all ingredients except croutons. In a 2- to 2 1/2-quart casserole or baking dish, combine ham, broccoli, cooked rice, soup, cheese, onion, and sour cream. Spread bread crumbs over top. Bake 55 to 65 minutes at 325°, or until browned and bubbly. But if you want something more tradintal chose this! INGREDIENTS: 1 center-cut ready-to-eat ham steak, about 1 1/2 pounds 2 teaspoon dry mustard 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed 2 tablespoon vinegar PREPARATION: Place ham on a rack in a shallow pan. Combine mustard with brown sugar and vinegar; sprinkle over ham steak. Broil ham slice under moderate heat until browned; turn, baste with pan drippings, and broil until lightly browned. Serves 4. Enjoy p.s this came from about.com

The first recipe is mine, it is very tasty. Everyone loves it around here. The second is from About.com, but I have tried it, and it is wonderful. The plum sauce really adds a unique sweet flavor. Baked Country Ham 14 lb Uncooked smoked ham 1 c Brown sugar 1/2 c Dry sherry 1/4 c Honey 1/4 c Dijon mustard Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Put ham, fatty-side up, in a foil-lined metal baking pan. Cover with foil and bake for 3 hours. Combine remaining ingredients. Remove ham from oven. Carefully trim away all but 1/8-inch of fat. Score with a sharp knife in a diamond pattern, making cuts 1/8-inch deep and one inch apart. Pour excess fat from pan. Line pan with new foil, and put ham in pan. Spoon glaze over ham and bake for 20 minutes. Raise oven temperature to 325 degrees, and glaze again. Bake an additional 20 minutes. Glaze once more and bake 15 minutes. Cool before carving into thin slivers. Plum Glazed Ham from: http://bbq.about.com/od/hamrecipes/r/bl51211e.htm INGREDIENTS: 1 cooked ham, about 10-12 pounds 1 bottle port 1 cup plum jelly or preserves 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest 2 teaspoons dry mustard 15-20 cloves PREPARATION: Prepare smoker. Remove rind from ham and score in a diamond pattern with knife. Insert cloves into patterns. Place ham in a shallow dish and pour all but 1/4 cup of port over it. Place ham into smoker and cook for 3 1/2 hours. Combine remaining 1/4 cup port, plum jelly, mustard, and lemon zest in a small saucepan until melted. Use as a baste for the ham during the last 30 minutes of smoking. Remove, slice and serve. I hope one of these does the trick. I love cooking ham. Happy Easter.
