are humans more selfish than other organisms?

I know humans are selfish and narcisistic, but I don't thing they are the only species that is. For example, take the black widow spider. She mates with the male and then kills him. I think that's pretty selfish. It is my belief that each species has their own "selfish/survivalist" instincts.
