Apparently you are a new entrant to the 100 posts club! Many congratulations! When one makes it to a hundred posts, the ratings that one has received from other users is made public, and that is the number 7 that accompanies your star. If you continue to post quality discussions and posts, your rating will continue to soar and you might even end up with a 10 star rating (A blue star). Mine is currently a red star with a rating of nine. Make sure that you don't post biased or controversial topics that may hurt people's sentiments as you may get negative ratings for such posts, there by bringing your rating down. Ratings have mostly brag value I guess on mylot, but I really am happy with the rating system. You get ratings when people rate your discussions, and so, don't forget to return the favor by rating the discussions and replies of other people! Take care and have fun on mylot!
