I like putting a bit of salt on my toast! Does anyone else do this and think it's great?

I have to buy salt free bread because the salted kind gives me headaches. So, I never add salt to anything. I can't tolerate any extra salt, my body doesn't seem to be able to get rid of it all that fast. I can't imagine it would taste good because I don't like the taste of salt at all.

I have NEVER heard of anyone putting salt on their toast. Ewwwwwww! To me that just sounds wrong. Isn't butter or margerine salty enough?

heh. I'd never heard of it either, but then, one day, I went and ordered toast at this cafe, and there was salt on it! At first I was somewhat frightened and thinking to complain, but then, i ate some, and discovered that it helped bring out the taste of the butter and i liked it... now, if i'm not putting something else on my toast, i usualy put some salt there.

No, the only thing I use is butter, or jam. I am avoiding salt so Its not something I would eat.
