pocket books are addictive

many of my officemates love to read pocketbooks. they say its like eating peanuts. Once you start eating it you can't stop it until you finished it. What makes it so addictive? Considering its expensive over the bookstore and there's so much to read on. I wonder.

Books in general are very addictive, but I think pocketbooks are more addictive because you can take them anywhere with you. If you love to read them, but don't want to spend too much money or get them for free, try buying them online used or get together with your friends and have a book swap.
