I just noticed that many teens nowadays as well as the young ones are addicted to computer games. It also cause them to skip classes. I think Computer shops must not allow or perhaps prevent them from playing computer games during class days. Would you refrain your child from playing? Just asking.

I agree with this as these games are addictive and children do not realize how important and education really is until it could be too late . I believe this would be a good idea as there would be no reason why a child should have to play games during school time even if they were home sick because if they are home sick they don't need to play on computer games as there are so many other things that are better for the brain then all the games they have out there for children . I have a problem with my twelve year old son as this seems to be his only interest in life and he went from being a very happy outdoor type of child to one who seems more withdrawn and depressed and only wants to play on computer games all day . I am having a hard time trying to to break this habit but do believe that part of the problem was in allowing him to play the games that all his friends found so much fun .

That's a hard question to answer because I grew up with gaming myself. Intead of preventing kids from playing, I think its better to educate them on how to manage their time and priorities. Let them know that computer games are for past time recreation and that studies always come first.
