Anyone have any experience with this? I have had major recurrent heartburn lately. The past couple of weeks, it's HORRIBLE...no matter what I eat. I can eat rice with nothing...just plain white rice and get heartburn! I am thinking it might be my diet dr pepper. I drink 3 or 4 cans a day. But, I have been drinking this stuff forever. I know I had horrible heartburn with both pregnancies, but there is NO way I am pregnant, so don't ask. LOL My husband hasn't been home since December except for a couple of weeks ago and it had already started before then. Anyhow, I know there are some home remedies..one is apple cider vinegar, but I can't even think of taking that. LOL Any ideas? Thanks so much for any input.

You can try taking Jade Greenzyme regularly. Not only it helps blood pressure, prevents cancer, has all the vitamins you need and all - it also reduces the acidity (raises pH) in your body. I take it regularly for more than a year, and it does wonders to me. I also recommend drinking PiWater *living water". It helps cleaning your system as well.

Probably high levels of acidity. Not fun, and, believe it or not, can get a lot worse. Lay off the Dr. Pepper, cut out any fizzy or fatty stuff, get straight to the nearest pharmacy. You will need: Sodium sulphate,an alkaline, to clear out the mess. Sodium phosphate, the body's own antacid, to shut down the gut problems. Magnesium phosphate will also be required to help calm things down a bit. Blackmores sell things called "celloid salts" which contain these compounds, over the counter. All pretty cheap, and they do work. Also; Chamomile to help the process, clean up the disaster areas, and settle the stomach. Water, regularly, to rehydrate and help the body try to get back to some sort of normal routine. Try leafy green veg with your rice, because it sounds like you're not really getting enough actual nourishment. That can aggravate things, and drain your body of its supplies for dealing with things like this. **** Do not, please, for your own sake, become an antacid addict. That solves nothing, irritates your gut flora, and generally acts like a band aid when what you really need is to get rid of the problem.

Normally even after you ate, u still have heartburn.. then try to get some medicine. Ranitidine or Ompeprazole might work.. only for several days. Chillies, pepper, red meat, caffeinated drinks can cause heartburn. During pregnancy, it happen because your uterus is pushing the belly and the diaphram.. so u easily get heartburn. But most of the time.. it is caused by the foods u take. So watch what you eat. apple cider vinegar is something that is...hmm... hard for me to swallow...hmm... so go for alternative. I know some of the brand that have it in the capsule form. I know Natural Factors.. they have in capsule form. Take care!!!
