Showbiz sections in recent issues of Japanese magazines talked about rumors of Disney Television making the plot of a special anniversary episode of the Power Rangers. Based on news, the episode, to be shown in the current PR season, Operation Overdrive if this pushes through, entails the return of the son of Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd, the first villains of the Power Rangers (1993-1996), and he is getting revenge on the Rangers.
