WATER before,during or after meals

I read it that water should not be taken along with your meals,rather you should allow a gap of between 2 to 4 hours after your meals before drinking water. The argument is that water along with your meals hastens digestion and leads to nutrient loss. How true is this?

after? really? i think we should be drinking lots of water to aid in digestion, i do not know anything about drinking it when...

That is very true. Water will help the flow of the food in the stomach.Dry food will tend to stick in the tubes and will not digest as easily as with some fluid to help it along plus will cause wind to build up and blow back. Have a nice day from Deeeky.
