In what situations maybe people get jealous?

A lot of it can be explain as envy and resentment. To me, the terms jealousy is used so frequently that it is now another phrase, " you are jealous" I don't see any emotion attached to it. Someone wants said if you have love, then you have jealousy. Please elaborate on your thinking. Thanks. Will welcome your insights on this.
