how can u make net surfing useful???

we regularly waste half or some of us full of our time in net surfing .....share ur views ,,,wht u surf on net,,,is it really fruitfull to u ...like i surf net for free softwares, music and knowledge base data base,,,,,,,,WHT ABT U PEOPLES OUT THERE???

The way i make surfing the net useful is I use it to find information on the kind of job I want and how to get into it. I laso use it to keep in touch with friends from college and high school. I also do research for papers I'm writing in hopes to get published in literary journals.
