do you think the writers and producers have even written and decided the way this wonderful series will end? it's weird i want a conclusion yet i dont want the show to end. i love the way everything is a clue but yet none of the clues seem to actually fit together and it's ever changing. there is NO WAY of figuring the show out without the final episode! Yeah I'll keep watching the show even when some of friends have given up. I think what's more about the show itself the factor that makes it shine is how it tells stories. There are other shows about crashing on an island and people waiting to be rescued. But those shows didn't care to tell the stories behind the current situation, which unfortunately made them all very similar and unappealing. But Lost has really toppled that traditional idea; Somehow it managed to intertwine so much information, telling stories within stories and keep creating new plots within plots. And actually these pieces here and there make you wonder what's really behind all that is happening to this group of people who are supposed to be in the States but sadly trapped on an anonymous island in the middle of nowhere. I guess that's why I love the show and would never give it up for Heroes.

I do believe they have already come up with the ending, but before that is revealed, they'd like to play a little bit more of "mind games" with the audience. Yeah some said the story is still developing itself based on its current development, and therefore any ending is unforeseeable. But as a TV series, no matter how long or how short it is intended, there should be at least a complete story out there, which could also be defined as the "axis of theme", without which it is high possible to stick to the point where they started the show from. As far as the current plot goes, it does make a lot of us think very hard what would happen next, as well as drop the show as it is. And that's not a good thing. I think the play write should not get too carried away. You never want your audience to "get lost".

YES I COMPLETELY AGREE!!! they are begining to get carried away and much of my family that used to be involved has since given up on the show for being too confusing and too much to remember. i bet many others have given up also. im going to hang tight for the rest of this season and see from there i guess.all in all it is a very creative show. just very confusing at times...MOST times. lol

Nope-- I would think that they haven't- I've heard they may do only 5 seasons- It would be nice to get some answers each week-- they could even give us new questions-- but we need things to start tieing in together-- It's the best show out there-- but I'm afraid they might lose fans because it is alot to remember and think about- I love it and don't want it to end either!

yes. i think you're right. if it gets too confusing with all the little hints they hand out then it may be too much to handle and people will probably give up on it. you're right!
