What would you do if someone copied your discussion?

If I know or I see somebody has copied my discussion I will go to respond to that discussion first, to tell the truth there. After that I would definitely report that to Mylot with my discussion link.

when this happen of course you can do nothing, what you can do is respon for that discussion with the good answer from the answer that you recieve from your discussion.

If someone copied my discussion I would report it to MyLot, that is to say if they "actually" copied my discussion. If someone only asked the same question as I did, I would chalk it up to coinsedence, and then I'd move on with my life, and not waste time worrying about the problem.

I would report them and also send them a message stating that is wasn't nice altho alot of discussions on here are repeats, if it is the same as yours there is a chance that it might get deleted anyway or noone will respond to it.It is sad that people have to do that but it does happen on discussion forums like this one.

I'd be really annoyed and report it. Some users earn their points solely by doing this. I've seen one person who seems to have earned loads just by doing this. It's cheating.

I can understand someone posting something similar to something you posted and not realize it. But if someone is just copying your discussions word for word I would report them. That's just annoying.

Imitation is the highest form of flattery! I would write a response to their discussion if I saw it. I don't know but somebody may have already copied some of my discussions. I guess I am not too worried about it. However, it doesn't make mylot a good discussion forum if the same discussion gets repeated over and over again.

I would be upset and I would definitely report it. I've seen it happen even in the same discussion. One guy copied a post for one page and added it under his own name. I think that's why Mylot says you can't use copy and past until you reach 500 posts.

I see a lot of the same type of questions being asked and some are just a like. How do you know someone is coping your discussions? Just asking because sometimes I will start a discussion in the general section and then go to a specific interest and see a very similar discussion was started. Just an opps on my part. I hope whoever is coping your discussions stop because that would be upsetting.

I would definitely report it. It's cheating the system, and they shouldn't be allowed to get away with it. Especially it was a word for word copy and pasted style of copying your discussion. I wouldn't report it if it was just a similiar discussion, though, unless there were sentences that were definitely copied and pasted.
