Well, there are more and more people on the earth. And we need more and more land to feed our people. But the land avialable to toil is decreasing day by day. I read a news the other day, shang hai in china made a new law to encourage people to spread ash of their ralatives' bodies into the sea.The government would like to subsidies those who do this. Friends, what is your opinion,do you think the government is right or not?

I am goilg to be cremated and my asheswill be stored with all the rest of my family ashes in aspecial vault at my grandmother's gravesite. I think that in this time when arable land is at such apremium, to waste it on cemeterise is uncalled for. The logical solution is to cremate, and spread the ashes where they can do some good

well,as you said, many rich chinese buy land to bury their bodies, but as the time goes on,few people can afford it,and the best way is to cremate and spread somewhere.

I can't say whether the government is right or wrong. I would like to think that the deceased person would have their wishes carried out and they could be buried in their own chosen place. Every country is running out of burial spaces and I would agree that something needs to be done. I myself would like to be cremated and my ashes scattered in the sea.
