In my country, many plane accidents this year, not just happened to the cheap fee airlines, but also the prestigous airlines can't avoid that. Some happened because of the bad weather, and also human error. Many people in my country right now become phobia to fly, but sometimes have to do some trip using plane, so trying to be brave. Are you also have feeling fear to fly with plane? If you do, how can you handle that feeling when you have to do trip with plane ? Actually I will have holiday trip in Wednesday, using plane. In my way to back home, I already booked for the ticket, and guess what I will use the airlines that about 3 months ago had a big accident and people here never found the plane until now :( But I heard that the airlines now become better in their services... Hope so

It's normal to feel scared with flying these days, I think the fear has been made worse ever since the tragic events of 9/11, but at the same time, flying is something that we can't always avoid. I'm pretty much okay with flying. I enjoy it even though it can get a little tedious on long flights. i tend to try and get some sleep because I find it passes the time. Worrying about flying will make the fear worse, you have to try and relax about it, and look forward to your trip, whether you're going on vacation, or flying home. I haven't flown in three years now, but I would like to again. Right now, I just can't afford it.

Well, shxt happens sometimes you know. Everything has it risks, but i heard odds of dying in an auto accident is much greater than in a plane related incident. The benefits of air travel still outweighs its risks, perhaps its the only form of super-long distance travel one can have for those on the go. I also had to contend with getting around here and there on a budget airline but hey, if really in doubt, i'll just utter a prayer or two for a safe journey.

I'm back already... thx for the comment :) I also convince myself in pray before going somewhere. Infact I've already gone with plane many times, but lately I don't know why I'm losing my trust to do that :D But hope next time will be fine.

I have always been a little scared of flying, even though I've flown enough miles to get me around the world at least twice. I have always been too aware that you can't just stop a plane and get off, unlike a car or train. For short flights, I tend to be able to pre-occupy myself, and not get too stressed. For long flights I have 2 tips; firstly, fly at night and try to ensure you are very tired, so you sleep through the flight. Secondly, ask your doctor for a mild seditive! I have never had a very bad experience on a flight (fingers crossed), except a couple of bad turbulence jolts, and know that flying is often the only option, so I bear it. Hope your journeys, and your holiday, were very enjoyable, and you feel refreshed and inspired from the break. All the best.

i don't like to fly either.i'd rather take my chances on a bus-at least if something happens,i'm already on the ground. coast to coast though,it's unavoidable.i just try to distract myself by reading,or sleeping. i will admit, when i did fly,the view of the moon shining over the clouds was just breathtaking from up there.
