My ten year old girl is extremely mouthy

my daughter is a very good student never any complaints of bad behavior at school she brings home mostly a's and some b's but its like as soon as she crosses the threshold to home i need an exorcist she rarely smiles she snaps at every little thing i ask her she feels she shouldnt have to clean anything not even her room she yells at me its outrageous and she actually goes to church 3 nights a week her choice i dont go with her nor do i force her but she says that she is a christian and i ask her where because she defineltly dosent bring christian behavior home

I was like this as a kid. I was a perfect angel anywhere I went until I got home. MY mom taught me to respect others and how to act in public, but I was awful at home, I dont know why really, maybe it is just a stage, but I grew up to be a respectful, honest person. So, It sounds to me, you are doing ok. I was also a christian, and I did the same things. Just keep on her to realize in the real world she'll have to do things she doesnt want to and make sure you show her that, because that is where my mom messed up, not teaching me that, but otherwise, I turned out ok.

Wow that does not sounds good. You should tell her to be nicer to you and act good at home as well. Acting good outside of the home is not enough. Thanks for posting this. I think kids should learn how to be nice these days. Because sometimes they don't act good.
